Lifting, and wanting to flip the tractor over?

So I’m sure we’ve all done it before. Throw a chain on the side of the bucket/ pallet fork. And presto- you feel the tractor wanting to flip over. If you haven’t had that pucker factor, I’m sure one day you will 🤷‍♂️
made a video showing a different way to skin the cat.

with an experienced operator, they can probably judge the tip point 99 times out of 100.
But for the newer operators, it only takes that 1 lift to get you into trouble.

Yep, pulling on one side can not only flip a tractor but for less severe instances can mess up the loader and/or tractor even if it doesn't flip.

Anytime you are using equipment it's best to plan ahead and know the limitations of the equipment. Bad things can happen quickly.

Whats that thing on the rear?..your stump grinder?

Looks fairly heavy but was still not enough weight unless you let it down just to show the effect of lifting a tire..

Nice touch at the end with your kid on the Tiny Tractor.

Good looking truck too.

I’m pretty sure that’s a good way to tweak the loader frame but I’m not qualified enough to comment

Pull evenly on both loader arms to avoid flipping over or bending the arms. Both are expensive repairs.

Stump grinder weighs approximately 900#’s. All my tires are liquid filled also. There is a lot of ballast but even the slightest nudge on the loader joystick wants to jolt the tractor.
Just wanted to make a video showing some of the dangers of picking from the side. I’ve watched many other YouTube videos, from much more popular channels showing side loading. One popular video showed a second person standing on the rear rim to help ballast. That video sent shivers down my spine.

hopefully there will be 1 “newer” operator whom watches this video and stops a bad day from happening.
