My local Rural King has two King Kutter 48" tillers. One has number of TG-48-RR and the other is TG-48-XB-RR. Does anyone know what the difference is between these two. They look they same. Also are they reverse rotation or forward rotation? I can't find anything on the King Kutter website that helps.
thanks,

Could it be that the 'RR' in the model number means 'reverse rotation'?

The XB has a narrower mounting frame and wont work with a quick hitch without modifications.

My 60" King Kutter tiller is forward rotation and does not have 'RR' in the model number.
For whatever that's worth.

EDIT; It looks like the the 'RR' is the designation for the implements that King Kutter makes for Rural King, in Red. So maybe RR stands for Rural King Red.
All other King Kutter implements (tiller/box blade/rear blade/rotary cutter etc. etc.) that are red for the Rural King brand, have 'RR' in the model number.

Are both those tillers you mentioned, Rural King (RK) brand (made by King Kutter) and in Red?

Limited Cat 1 hitch...

Standard Cat 1 hitch...(this one is offset)

By looking at this one....

They would put reverse rotation in the description. And the model number would start with RTG, for Reverse Tine Gear.

You can call King Kutter and they will tell you. I called them when I was looking for a tiller and they were very helpful over the phone.
