I have a JD 4720 with a 400CX loader.
I have been told by a manufacturer (not Deere) that their grapple will hook up to a 430 loader so it should hook to a 400CX loader, basically that the 430 loader hookup spec is the same as the 400CX spec.
I know the 430 loader is much smaller and less capable than the 400CX thus I have tried to find if a grapple attachment for a 430 loader is the same as the attachment for a 400CX loader. Does anyone have a 430 loader that can measure the distance between the hooks (horizontal) and the distance between the hook and the pin (vertical) on their 430 loader so I can compare it against my 400CX.
The Deere website and parts list does not seem to have the info available.

They are the same Steve, only when you get to the 500 series is the spacing about 6" more between the top hook and lower pin.

Take a look at the compatability chart (on the left side) on the Artillian page: Pallet Fork Sets

I believe all the JD QAs are the same size, until you get to the 600 series. :unknown: Pretty sure the 500 series is compatible with the smaller stuff.

Interesting. Frontier lists the AY11E 72" Materials Bucket as fitting the 300/400/500 series loaders. They also list the AP12F forks to fit the 200 to 500 series.
That is because they have two sets of pins on the back:
