Both belt systems are much different, which you will be thankful for when it comes time to replace the belts. Both meaning deck and traction drive. So for the rest of it, it could be enough to keep you on track.
Lt166 vs ltr166 technical manual
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I have an lt166 and have been working on it. I managed to find a technical service manual for a ltr166.
Are these close enough to use this manual for? From my understanding ltr is just a rear bagger.
Im using the manual for engine tuning and will need to replace and tension the drive belt soon.

Thanks ill use it for the rest and try to be mindful when replacing the drive belt. I just can't justify the cost of the service manuals from jdBoth belt systems are much different, which you will be thankful for when it comes time to replace the belts.
