I turned on the radio yesterday as I was leaving the airport and heard Rush Limbaugh advertising the Mahidra tractor for about a 60 second spot.

It would be perfectly normal if the Mahidra tractor is an American company and made in the USA. I don't know that it is..........Is it?

I would feel more comfortable with a John Deere ad..............

I TRY TO ALWAYS BUY "MADE IN USA". Canada is ok too. Certainly not china.

It must be a regional thing. I listen to him almost daily and havent heard this one. Usually, the obscene profit time outs are Lifelock ,goldline or some such..

I heard the ad this morning on the local Rush radio. It was the morning show before. The next ad informed that I could get info from them that the "Big banks and Wall Street Casino's" didn't want me to know... :mocking:

I've spent some time running a Mahindra, 5XXX something or other. I don't recall exactly. New tractor, and I was very unimpressed.

Doesn't relate to Rush, but still...
Getting off topic here, but I would love to see each and every manufacturer put up a tractor that they would normally sell, for say $40k and see what each tractor would end up having for std and optional equipment. Then have a set or working tests to perform and see what the outcome was. I know still a lot of variables, but I think that it would be interesting.

There's a Mahindra dealer near that I buy Stihl parts from. They sell other brands of tractors too and also construction equipment. Sometimes they'll have some old International Harvester tractors on the lot as well as brand new New Hollands. The salesmen don't appreciate it when I walk past the Mahindras without any hesitation.

That's essentially what the Nebraska tests were, many years ago. Haven't checked lately, do manufacturers even still participate in those?

How about we start a Top Gear TV show for tractors? :thumbup1gif:
I love the idea. We have to do it in the UK, though. They still pull big plows. :good2:
