May Day is a public holiday usually celebrated on 1 May. It is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival[1] and a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the festivities. In the late 19th century, May Day was chosen as the date for International Workers' Day by the Socialists and Communists of the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair in Chicago.[2] International Workers' Day can also be referred to as "May Day", but it is a different celebration from the traditional May Day.

They are already rioting in France.
We'll wait and see if Seattle follows suit.

Is that one of those "sayings" you learn growing up as I haven't heard that one before?

Let's see, he must be talking about shooting video outside, F I L M I N G........:dunno:

Based upon the number of asterisks, it could be either a release of "digestive systems gasses" or it could be a release of something else........just hopefully not too soon.......:lol:

Didn't you recently retire? Oh wait, you also got a new cool older Jeep didn't you? Maybe then it something about driving the new Jeep with the top removed and having a great time......

Thanks for reminding me to put the Hummingbird feeder outside of Mrs. Bear's kitchen window......I bought some bags of special Hummingbird mix for the liquid feeders at our local farm mill and the Hummingbirds Act like its crack, or something. They really like the mixture, plus it stays consistent longer than sugar water seems to...................

We also have 3 rabbits who have been playing every night outside her kitchen window, they are not full grown and not babies, but somewhere in between, 2 are always together and they were even sleeping in the open in the grass a couple of nights ago. For Mrs. Bear, that's better than any movie ticket for entertainment she could ever want.............

Let me guess. I had a good friend and coworker who was a PhD Microbiologist. He was once employed at the health department, in Wichita I think, and he said that about a week after the first, warm & beautiful Spring day (warm enough to place a blanket on the ground) that their free V.D. clinic was full.

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and this time I'm happy to be wrong!
Portland is more of a hotbed for those folks... I can't say what I really want without abusing the prohibition on political talk in this forum.
