Rita Hayworth and her co-stars are staying alive in our memories!
This is a kind of sequel of my "Rita Hayworth jumps in the line" video, which was equally fun to make.

Music: Bee Gees with "Stayin' Alive"

That was great !Its amazing how the music fit the dance so perfectly.
My mother danced with Fred Astaire in the 50's and early 60's. She was also the main instructor at the Fred Astaire studio in Las Vegas and later Dallas for that time period. I was very young but still remember a little and had a tophat and cane they used for props

edit...I'm looking to see if I can spot her in one of these scenes...I'm sure she was in there some where. Here is a pic of my mother now She is in the center,I'm the top left with my wife below me and to my mothers right hand side. Back then she had very dark, almost black hair....dyed famdamly.jpg

Tech Guy: Good stuff.

rgd: That's a good story. Parents did some neat stuff, didn't they? I can hardly remember when my hair had any color other than white, and it wasn't dyed. I blame my white hair on my daughter.

I'm sure that she will. She follows GTT quite closely. When you see a post from misslilly37, you will know that the old man is in for a ration of crap.

TechGuy,

That was just too darn cool! You have to be very familiar with a lot of Rita Hayworth movies to know where to find those scenes to match up with the music. What I really want to know, is how the heck does that black and white dress at 3:40 stay attached??? :)

and rgd, that must have been fun growing up.
