Picked up my "new" 1980 New Holland 1114 last night. Got it off the rented swather trailer today. I'll get the header off the other trailer tomorrow & start putting him back together.

A/C works! Fan blows low or high, no med. has a radio installed. Diesel sounds pretty good. Burns a little oil, but runs good.
Headers in good shape. Lots of new teeth. Everything appears to be snug in the right places. No slop.
Overall for a '80 it's in good shape. The guy was a gear head, so he took good care of it.

Great looking machine! Looks alone says it was taken care of.

I love the name Frank!. How did you come to that? My bother in-law calls me Frank because of a past contractor I worked for. They (my queens brothers) name everything like that. It's pretty cool.

Hope to see more pictures once you reassemble it.

My wife and kids name everything, I mean everything. Animals, cars/trucks, tractors. My kids even name all the little schleich toy animals they buy(I think they own every horse mfg'd).
Frank is from the movie "Cars", when Mater & McQueen go tractor tipping.

Windrower/Swather. Cutting my own hay instead of having a neighbor do it.

I owned Deere's version, a JD 2280, when I was still milking/farming. That was the funnest piece of equipment that I ever owned. Damn I loved mowing hay, especially alfalfa. Have fun and many years of enjoyment.

Katriel had a stuffed blue monkey as a kid which really didn't get much love. One day its arm 'fell off'. I told Katriel that it fell off because she failed to give it a name.
Since then, EVERYTHING has been named at our house.

No more arms have fallen off, so I guess it works.

Hiya,

Your Frank looks a little more tame than the Car's version....

Got some cutting done!

Took a day or so to dial in the 336.

Starting baling tonight. Need to make the bales a little shorter according to my kids.

The 4520 looks good pulling a Deere.
