Shots of finished assembly

The Cost :cookoo:

$349 - Todd Tank
$100 - transfer station adapters and components
$135 - FR112 pump
$26 - Short Flange

If I would have ordered the Fuel transfer station from the start, I would have saved ~$50 - $75. :banghead: and a couple of hours :banghead: But it was fun

However, I do have a portable fuel transfer station that can put fuel in and take it out. No more multiple 5 gallon gas cans for me!

yes I could have used the 30 gallon barrel I have, but I did not and I am still happy, as transporting this caddy to the gas station is easier than my barrel with pump would be.

That is sweet! A few questions:

How will you get that out of your truck when its full? Will you have to use the forks each time?

Looks to be a 2 person job to fill your tractor. one with the nozzle and one to turn the pump? Do they make a battery operated pump?

I like it alot!

Good job Nuru, I did a very similar thing. The only differences I did was use an electric pump and added a filter. My nozzle is an auto shut-off as well.

Brian,
I use an engine crane to unload it from the truck after fill-up.

Nuru:

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you put a quick-connector on the nozzle instead of just putting the nozzle directly on the hose?

Brian; Well, I think I can do it by myself. I thought about setting it up to use a drill to work the pump, but I will try it a few times to see how it works

Oh I forgot, I have a tray that slides into my SUV's Receiver hitch, so I can strap the caddy on the tray and then just lift it off of the tray.

Randy, I was told that using an electric pump was not a good thing, can you send pics of your set-up? I am thinking of using a filter too.

Mjncad, I want the option of changing hose ends, for fuel loading and fuel transfer.
