Model 425 AWD carburetor and solenoid question

I always knew I was destine to answer a question for Einstein.

I am not an expert however the solenoid gets power to retract and let fuel flow when the key is on so a hot wire from the key should work. I am not sure if there is a spot in the wiring diagram for this machine since it did not come with one. It is there to stop the fuel flow to prevent run on.

I have an 1800UTV with the same motor that this solenoid and a new one wreaked havoc with when starting. When I looked at the diagrams of the carb I found that this solenoid was removed for high altitude machines and would not leak gas if it was not there. I cut the end of the plunger off of it so it could not block the flow and it has ran and started great for many years.
