I have been wanting a grading bucket, so I decided to get a tilt one. I was trying to choose between the Rhinox & Mongo, so based on the data on Spicer Designs YT channel, I felt that the Mongo one was a better fit for my needs. We have not used it yet as we just got it hooked up tonight & the measurements for the Ease of Use configured. I will update as we work with it, but from initial impressions, it seems very well built.

Looks good. What's the width? I have a Mongo tilt bucket for my KX121 that's 42". Do you have two aux hydraulic circuits so you can operate both the tilt and thumb at the same time? I have that on my KX080 and it makes operations much easier. My KX121 only has one aux circuit so I have to position manual diverter valves to select whether it operates the tilt or the thumb. Remotely controlled diverter valves would make it easier, but dual circuits is the best.

That's so awesome! Grading is going to be fun with that.

Do you have a picture of where the cylinders connect in the middle to pivot? Curious of the connection/geometry in there.

We have been able to get a few hours on the bucket, and it has been great. It is incredible how much better the right tool for the job works. I was torn between the 50" & the 60", but I was concerned that the 60" might be too much. In retrospect, I almost wish that I had gotten the 60" to have a bit more width to grade, but I am sure that there will be instances that I am glad that I have the 50.

That 306 can handle a 60” all day. You can also order a longer cutting edge and bolt that on your bucket or weld something that’ll bolt up to your bucket. And try to not jerk that thing around a lot or your pins will get sloppy. Nice Mongo. And nice 306
