Found this at 6:20 am. We’re well above normal rainfall and the uncharacteristic winds yesterday brought down this cottonwood this morning. Cleared by 7:00 am with my sweetie and my electric Stihl saw. 8 inch diameter tree (20 cm).

You had a bigger tree. A Case 580 does come in handy.

Nice work! We've had at least four cottonwoods come down on our block from this storm with one blocking a road. Neighbor took care of that one but I wasn't really happy with the job he did.

So grateful I have the knowledge, ability and resources to handle issues like this on my own. Look around at work, grocery store, neighbors, how many you think would take it on or just make a phone call? Life is good
