I have a Gx325 and the motor dies when you Release the brake if you by pass the safety the motor runs till you start the pto have by passed all safety switch’s.
replaced the board and pto switch and motor will not run with deck on.
If you run a hot to deck Clutch will start on pto.

You have to unjumper the brake switch and then look at the seat switch.


You can’t jumper a brake switch, the computer logic must see brake on for some things, and brake off for others, like turning on the pto.

Sounds like the seat safety switch wires aren't getting a good connection somewhere in the harness. 👍🏻

Ok but it won’t run with the safety it starts but went you let off the brake it dies

Ok,but it won’t run on the brake safety. Will start and if you hold the brake it will run

Correct, when the computer sees the brake off it must have the seat switch on or it kills the engine
