moving trailers

Have a new 1026r, looking for some type of hitch to move trailers around the property. Thought I could order something but no luck . Any ideas? My welder is shot and there is not one close enoough to borrow or I would make something. Thanks

This is the oem option. cost about $150 ish from the dealer.

This is what I made up. I know you said your welder is shot. and too bad theres not one close you could use. I had all the materials in the barn, only cost was the time I spent welding it together.
I needed to trim is up so I didnt have a sharpe point on the end. I have 4 year old that wont leave stuff alone when he is in the barn with me.

I've got a Heavy Hitch that I swap between the 2305 and the 2720. It's very well made and gives me the hitch receiver and something to mount my Quick-Tatch weights. I'm very happy with it.

I've got a heavy hitch that I swap between to 2305 and the 2720. It's very well made and gives me the hitch receiver and something to mount my Quick Tach weight to. I'm very happy with it.

I really like the look of the heavy hitch (and Omni's product line). I went a different way for two reasons: 1)shipping cost 2)I don't want the extra weight on my hitch when I use it to move a heavy trailer. Sure you can take the suitcase weights off, but that's more work than what I have in mind:
I plan on putting together a separate weight box with a built in drawbar, so i can more readily attach/detach the rear ballast to the receiver.
