Bought a new set of mulching blades and a mulching plug/cover at the local John Deere store this summer for my D130. Replaced them mainly as a proactive step, along with other routine maintenance. However, ever since I replaced them, I've noticed that it seems to miss some areas, especially on hills and if the grass is damper in areas. The blades were similar, but not exactly the same as the original mulching blades, even though these were OEM John Deere blades. They seemed to be a slightly different angle than the ones I had.
Any ideas on why this is happening? I'm fairly certain they are installed correctly, as I made sure the angles etc. were the same as the originals when installing. I also set the tire pressures. I'm wondering if they are just not that great, and if I should consider swapping them out for another set of highly rated blades from somewhere else?
