Had more pics, but can't get my 'scat' together on posting! Peel-able but bleeds blue when cut. Side root and Tripe looking yellow bottom.....

Mushrooms ID

Guys Guys Guys! I'm not eating based on anyone's opinion here! 45 views and not one comment? Don't be afraid! I'm thinking it's a 'Bolete' of some kind. There are editable and Non editable. I'm thinking this is a "Bad" one!

Not trying to ignore you but this is far from my little skew of expertise! I am surprised someone hasn't posted up and schooled us yet though...Lots of random knowledge on here usually.

I know of 2 kinds that can be eaten.
1-the sponge type that grows in the spring. Murals? Misspelled.
2-the kind we buy in a store.
Have no idea what you posted is called. :dunno:

I really have no clue , but I am curious what it is .

Maybe call your county extension service & see if they know of an "expert" ?

I think your thinking of Morels, Levi......... and my spelling may be wrong too! :)

After a bit of googling, it think we need to see the side view and have a look under the cap to properly ID.
But I'll take a stab based on what you've posted, take a look at this link.

Helpful link Levi, and thank you! I think I'm going to "Pass" on eating them............ :) That last Picture is under the 'Cap'........Was Yellow with a 'Tripe' looking aka Cheese Cloth' texture. but turned Blue, when bruised.......... I'm saying 'No Go' for me, anyway......... :mocking:
