I had ordered the Tractor On April 17th
They actually had a 2017 1025R sitting at one of there other dealers But Because of Back ordered Parts it has taken a Month to get the 1025R TLB and the Dealer is also very busy with Planting season so I knew it would Take a while. My X485 Only Took a week to get In 2003

1025R Tractor Loader Backhoe
53inch Loader Bucket
Independent Hydraulic Lift for Mowing deck
60inch 7 Iron auto connect
647 Deere Tiller
8 & 12inch Backhoe Buckets
LED Forward Light Kit
Rear work light kit
Front quick Hitch with Hydraulic angle
R4's filled with rim Guard & 72Lb Cast Iron wheel weights
55AMp Alternator

Well when I first Order the 1025RTLB I originally was going with a 42inch Frontier Tiller. But Deere Gave my dealer a date of 5 June 2017 so Opted instead for a JD 647 my dealer Had in stock.

Several thing were On back order Until last Friday & today The 55AMP alternator Came in last Friday & Today the LED work Lights Came in. While it will be delivered on this coming Friday. It will still Not Have the 8inch Bucket & the Rear 72LB Wheel weights Because currently Deere is out of both the 8inch Bucket & rear 72Lb Wheel weights. The weights I am really surprised there out of. So My barn is going to get a Little crowed Unless the Cement contractor finally starts On cementing My Hose stall(Garden tractor Stalls) before Friday.

Reading thru The earlier Threads I saw on this forum about the Independent Hydraulic Lift for Mowing deck Made Up my mind to get it. When I finally decide to get a 1025RTLB I was considering the Hydraulic lift Kit That uses the Joystick Control. Because at first I didn't Like the sound of the Independent Hydraulic Lift Because it Only lifts and doesn't Hold It. But realizing I didn't want to switch hoses each time I used the Loader. Not That I will be Mowing much with the Loader On. I almost think I should Have Opted out of the Auto connect & Mid Mount Mower all together Because I think I will still be doing most of My mowing with My X748 or My GX335 anyways. Now I have 3 Loader tractors In My collection of Machines. I think the White GT2055 with Kwik-way Loader is Going to stay on Permanent loan to one my other Brothers Just to make room In the Barn.

Heavy Hitch & BXpanded will soon be getting a Big Order some time this summer

I feel Like a little Kid waiting for Christmas to Happen. Can't wait to put the 1025R to work on Friday:bigthumb:

Congrats on the new :greentractorride:. Kane county is pretty close to us.
Lived In Elburn Until last year. Wife and I bought a house & 5.5 acre there in the early 80's of coarse we didn't Live there Until 2002 When I retired from the Army But Now were about 10 east of there as My Parents Moved In with us. So we needed a Bigger House & were down to 3.9 acres. Still own the old Place in the Elburn area. Boy I wish it was 10 miles further west not east The end of My Back yard In the new house is Now Dupage county. I grew Up across the street from the Morton Arboretum In Unincorporated Glen Ellyn . It was farm country then But Not anymore. I hate living closer to Chicago. Where Now In the Saint Charles area Horse county.:cray: I prefer Farm country. But I got overruled :banghead::thumbup1gif:

I was at the dealership last week picking up a tuneup kit for my GT 235 and there was not a single 102X on display. I've never been out there where they didn't have a couple in the showroom or yard. Not sure if they are out or just delivering them faster than they can display them. I'm not surprised it is taking people longer than it took me last year to get their tractors.

They did have a 2038r on display. That is a nice unit.

The Deere dealer In My former Town has several 2R's In the show room. There all sold up on the 1 series there waiting for Deere to send them More Because they had Just sold 3 More 1 Series. The dealer where I am Buying from They Can't seem to Keep enough 1 series In. As soon as they come in the go leaping out the Door. I was Just Lucky they Had a 2017 1025RTLB in stock at there Other dealership So Far the 2R series has Not been a Great seller. Biggest complaint The dealers around me are getting on the New 2R is there New size Because Basically Deere went from a small frame size to a Medium Frame size. For a series That has always been sold as a small frame size. I think Jared at Deere didn't Take enough of the feedback on what users actually wanted for the 2R series redesign. Seems everyone that is Bought one on these type of forums are Happy with the new size But that only counts for a small Percentage of the actual buyers of these Machines. I guess Only time will tell if there Just a slow starter redesign or The design department dropped the Ball On the 2R redesign:thumbup1gif:
