All,

We'll, I acquired this in a trade. Not to besmirch the seller, he bought it last year. Not to besmirch the old guy he got it from, he did what he had to do back in the day.

But to show the ingenuity that can happen when you gotta git er dun.

The original rollamatic took a dump and he made a wide front. I do like the idea and some of the work. However, some of the work is "this is what I had" kind of stuff.

Kind of at odds as to get a matching set of front tires and clean up the engineering and rolling with it, or finding an original rollamatic and making original.

The home made rear step has got to go though. That is even too rough for me..

Tractor is a runner!!!

Anyway, enjoy the pics as always,

Rear tires

The good news is the rear tires, while at a bit better than 50%, they are crack free and not weather checked. Which is unusual for around here.

Enough pics for tonight ,

Enjoy,

I think the axle looks great!! :good2:

Good luck getting Sams Club to mount new tires on those split rims,,, :flag_of_truce:

Be careful with that axle,,
My BIL took his late 1940's WHITE truck to get the front end aligned,,
they said "no problem,," all they did was bend it into alignment,,,

Well,, the axle started to bend,,, and S N A P !!! it broke in half,,,

So,, No "wheelies" with that hand clutch,,, :nunu:

While that front axle is a neat fix, I’d have to get a new roll-a-matic for it. :good2:

I have some pets from my extra parts 60. Maybe we can work something out?

I can't ID the axle, but the right front tire looks like a military vehicle tire...like a jeep, 1-1/4 ton or maybe duece and a half, left front looks like a tractor trailer tire. Hard to tell actual size from pic though.

Sold Sold Sold

Well, I traded my Oliver Super 55 for a JD B and when the guy showed up he fell in love with my Frankenstein 60. So he came back with an empty trailer and 1000 bucks, so it went down the road.
