Need bigger tool box for 1025

I can’t think of a place to mount a bigger tool box. I definitely need more space. The tool box the rig came with can’t even a Decent size crescent wrench. Throw in a Waite tool, pliers, electric tape and odds and end and it just doesn’t cut it. Would also like to throw in a first aide kit. With the back hoe set up on the rig, it has even less spots to mount one. I’d also like to keep the rig looking nice. Any ideas guys?

That's why I am nearly always carrying my rear carry all, with a tool box mounted on the front side of it, between the tractor and carry all, not to mention a PAIR of Kenny's chain boxes on the I match, which is where I carry the Waite tool and other things that aren't chains.....

But you are right, for those who really use the tractors, the plastic tool box just doesn't get it done. I am likely going to add a "Big Tool Rack" as my new carry all soon......While the home made model has served me well, I have learned all of the mistakes I made building it and its limitations based upon design, which the Big Tool Rack cleverly solves..........Yes, it's expensive but it does solve many tool transport needs and does so safely and productively.......After all, if you drop one 2 cycle or battery powered lawn tool and run over or destroy it, you can easily wipe out hundreds of dollars.....

I usually have the backhoe on most times so mounting anything in the rear of the tractor doesn't work. Someone on the forum bought a bigger tool box and mounted it on the same bracket as Deere's. I bought a 14" Waterloo off of Amazon and drilled 2 holes in it and mounted it to the original bracket. It's not really that big but does hold more items and has a lift out tray. I'm currently designing and fabricating a frame to hold one of the large milk crates mounted on my heavy hitch weight bracket when I have the backhoe off and the iMatch on.

I put a bigger box in the same location. If you go too big, you'll end up interfering with a lot of stuff.

I mounted two 50 cal ammo boxes to my 1025. One on the loader frame and one above the top link retainer. I used the pre drilled hole in the loader and drilled another 1/4 inch hole and tapped them for 5/16 bolts with a 1/4 by 2 inch backing plate to make it ridged. On the rear tool box I used the existing bolts that hold the top link retainer and drilled the box to match. I keep chains and straps in the loader box and tools in the rear box. The existing tool box that came with the tractor is used for hitch pins and attachment clips.

The switch box is for the LED lights that I have on the ROPS wired to the work light plug in the lower wiring harness that is activated by the light switch. I have two sets of LED's facing forward that I can switch on independently on a three way flip switch that can be either off or turn on one set or both sets. Also one set of rear LED's on its own switch.

Nifty, I was expecting an outlet from a 12v to 120V power inverter.

I might get yelled at for 'improper use of a KBOH product" but, I have been using Ken's chain boxes as toolboxes. I keep bolt cutters, an adjustable wrench, and a prybar in the one, and I have a couple tow straps and a bundle of ty-raps in the other. All the smaller stuff, like electrical tape and wire cutters and a multitool reside in the factory toolbox, along with a couple of other do-dads.

You mentioned you wanted to keep your rig looking nice and I have to say, those chain boxes bolted to the I-Match look GREAT!!!:)
