Hello, new member from NW Wisconsin. I have 3 Deere's; a 1958 430W (tractor I grew up with and same age as I am), a 1973 2030, and a 1995 6400. Farm on 140 acres, 8-12 acres in vegetables as well as small grains, dry beans, and forage.

Having on-going electrical problems/rockshaft centered but also starting with the 6400; loud click under rockshaft slide control area (above fuse box) when I turn the key so think it's likely a short. Sometimes it starts, sometimes not, sometimes the rockshaft arms work, sometimes not... Issue usuually involves both. Frustrating given it is planting season and soon to be hay season. I'll post a bit more about the 6400 in the technical area.
