Just wanted to say hello, I farm a small 50ac, 20 head of beef cattle operation, actually it is a hobby farm more than a profit farm. I just bought a 1953 JD 50 and it needs a little TLC but looking forward to using it, have orange and red tractors and equipment ugh, but was raised on green and feels good to have one in the family again. I will post pics as soon as I can.

Welcome G-man. How did you get started with cattle? What do you raise them for? My grandfather had livestock and I have always wanted to, but I am fearful.

Father-in-law was raising the cattle when I married into family, so I just took over after he decided to step away and let somebody else run the farm. We sell the young when we don't need to restock our older cows. It definately is a hobby and you better enjoy it because it can be very trying and taxing sometimes. I was raised farming so it's in the blood!!!!!
