Hi all. Found this site while looking for information about SCUT/CUT type tractors. What a wealth of accumulated knowledge & practical experience here. I commend the community here for the conversational tone of this board. I've learned a lot lurking here for the last couple weeks and thought it time to make first post. I don't have a tractor yet, but will be needing one soon. Looking at tractors from 1025R to 2032R size depending on the size lot we end up with. Right now, we're seriously considering a 2 acre parcel, though we would consider more. I've searched these forums pretty well and found answers and well reasoned opinions for most of my questions. Will be posting some questions specific to my situation as the need dictates. I look forward to participating more in the future.

Welcome!

The conversational (or nice) tone is what I really enjoy here too. Seems like some people on other sites just want to pick at things or criticize. Everyone he is really nice! I hope you enjoy as mush as I have.

Welcome to GTT UncleMike.
I have been part of many, many forums over the years. This is the place, soup to nuts.
IMHO...
No one here seems to care who is right or who is wrong.
No one here seems to feel the need to be the shining light, know it all, top dog...............
Everyone here gets paid.........in the camaraderie between members.
Everything else you need to use a credit card.
I'm in it for the fun of it!

And I am in agreement with Gizmo, being in it "for the fun it"! Lots of things in life are not so fun, yet have to be dealt with. Having a family like we have here, where we can joke, have fun, and share knowledge, as well as other life experiences, at times, makes life a lot easier, and more interesting. Also saves each of us from having to reinvent the wheel every time we have a problem or concern with our equipment.

Welcome to the family!
