I've been on another forum for a while and found this and decided it would be nice to have some people who love Deere as much as I do to talk to, instead of those nagging Kubota owners:nunu::laugh:

Anyway I've got a:
2005 Deere 110 I just got
2000 Deere 5410
2005 Gator HPX diesel
2000 Deere LT160
2000 Deere 345

Glad I found the site and hopefully I can be of some help around here!

Welcome to GTT.

Lots of Deere-heads around here!

:wgtt:
Martian,

Welcome to GTT. You and some others on TBN gave me some good advice when I was buying the used 990 with 174 hours on it 2 months ago. glad to see you hear. I am sure your input would be greatly appreciated here as well. have you got everything sorted out with your 110 TLB? Last I read there was a problem with the hydraulics and the box blade.

Again good to have you hear.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Rob,

The 110 is still at the shop, and is sad because of the extremely nice weather we've been having. It is still at the shop, been there for a week and haven't heard from them. Good people, just move sloooooow. Hoping to get it back soon and tear something up!
:wgtt:

Glad to see another Deere-fanatic on the forum! :good2: We love pictures here!

It happened a while after, I can fetch a link if you'd like (or maybe I should start a new one here:thumbup1gif:) but I believe it's something to do with the diverter valve not switching all the way. Not quite sure as of the moment. Hopefully I can get it back soon and get back in full tilt, though!

Start a new thread...

I can easily believe the diverter not switching especially if it sat unused or the diverter was never operated.

I had just a slight bit of corrosion on mine once and it locked up solid (different machine, same principle). The tolerances in those valves is very small!

Thanks! I see a lot of people are members both places!:thumbup1gif:

About the username: I figure most people will take it that way, but it's actually the local schools mascot, and it's not 'the little green men', but the Roman god of war Mars. I think it's cool either way and I always thought it was cool being a Martian, because there's not many (any?) other schools I know of that are 'Martian's'. Anyway, I think it's cool either way, whether it is the outer space man, or the mascot.

I'd like to add my welcome to GTT, Martian. I've been following your posts wioth interest over on TBN fro a while now, and know you will fit in here just fine. I agree with you that the brand bashing over there gets pretty bad sometimes, and does nothing to help the users that are trying to get their questions answered. Enjoy the forums!

Thanks,

In my whole two days here, I can already see that it is a 'calmer' place. People are so uppity about their machine/brand over there, you suggest something and it's like we are reliving the civil war. I think I'll find myself over here more now:yahoo:

And, did I mention how much better the smilies are here:good2: :empathy3::dance::captain::beer::spy::crazy::nunu:

I'm having fun with the smilies alone!

How did you hear about us Martian?
Martian,hello and :wgtt:
Just noticed you've joined our group. Things are definitely more relaxed here. Enjoy your stay.

Greg
Thanks for the welcome Greg!

I'd actually first heard of you by a complaint of another user. I don't want to share the name publicly, but if you'd like you can PM for the name, you probably know anyway. At the time I'd never seen any of your posts and I believe you'd already made the transition over here. Let me just say that he wasn't very kind in his words to you and all the other members had nothing bad to say about you and were supporting you (on TBN). Because of this (nosy me) I'd looked into your old posts and found out about your new project (this site) through old posts and the users on TBN and came to check it out. When I first peeked over here it was still Deere Talk, so I'm not sure how long ago that was. I didn't want two accounts at the time, but was checking in here periodically. After the more frequent bashing and negativity on TBN I finally signed up for a forum that isn't created to drive everyone up a wall. I've really been enjoying the site and love that you can actually say what you want without being ridiculed for your comments for the next 7 pages over the same thing, know what I mean? Anyway, thank you for creating this awesome site my friend, I'll probably peek in to TBN every now and again, but I'm here to stay. Thanks again to you, and all other admins/mods for this awesome place!

This is a great forum. It's because of the members such as yourself. We're here to have fun and once in a while we can help a fellow tractor owner out. I'm glad to see that you are enjoying yourself here. :thumbup1gif:
