Hey there guys and gals,

New to the forum, and new to John Deere tractors in general.

Was in the market for a used lawn tractor and picked up a 1964 model 110.

I will be clearin' my driveway :plowsnow: and farmin' my yard in no time.

I am excited to own a green machine and I promise I will put it to good use.

Cordially,

Aaron

Thanks for the warm welcome.

:usa :canada

Thanks for the welcome!

Other than minor welds to covers this beast seems solid. A little surface rust on the snow-thrower. The tiller is nothing more than old and dirty; it could use a new belt.

From the tiny bit of research I've done, I believe that the tiller is Model 30 / early 31 and the snow-thrower is Model 36.

My plan is to mount and test the snow-thrower by October. I have stared at it for some time and think I have worked out how it attaches to the front and the PTO. It moves freely and should be ready to work without any major repairs. The chain on the Snow-thrower seems greased well enough. That's part of the reason that I bought this thing. It's working class. ;)

The tiller I would plan to work on over the winter. I'll post to the appropriate thread for attachments.

Mid spring will call for the tillers use up on the Iron Range in Eveleth, MN.

I'll till up my yard in Saint Francis enough for a mid-size garden. Mmmmmm... Corn, Potatoes, Peppers...

Cheers! :coffee:
