I might as well introduce myself since I have already made a couple of posts.

I bought a 3025 a few weeks ago and figured I should join a forum to pick up some info and tips. So far, I have found this site to be informative and the members seem like decent folk.

I love the tractor. It may only be 25 hp but it has all the guts to do what I need. I have a front end loader with a bucket and a fork carriage. Also have a finishing mower on the back. I've burned a couple of tanks of fuel in it so far and can't wait to burn some more.

I started digging a drainage ditch. My Yorkipoo had fun playing in the dirt.

Welcome -- what size finish mower? Really enjoying my 3025e.

60 inch Frontier GM1060E. It works pretty good. I've been cutting a field that has grown up about 3 to 4 foot tall and it chomps through it.

Do you think it could handle the 72" finish mower? Gm1072e shows 22hp required, no idea if that's engine or PTO.

One of my buddies used to sell JD tractors and he suggested that I get a 72 inch mower. He said it would run it fine. I can tell you that the 60 doesn't strain it at all.

The only reason I didn't get the 72 is because they didn't have one at the dealer that day. I bought it on a Friday and wanted to use it that weekend so I just got the 60.
