New member here. My name is Charlie Fox, live in western Arkansas. Purchased a new 2017 X590 with 54 inch deck on Valentine"s Day, delivered on Feb. 28. Man, am I going to love this machine! My last mower was a 2002 LX277 , and to it's credit, I never have had any problems at all with it, from new to now. My back was not getting any younger and originally I went in to look at a X390, but after reading a lot on here, decided to go for the X590. Power steering is the bomb, by the way.

You will love it. I bought the X580 last spring. Wish I would have went with the 590 for the better gas efficiency. Mine has been great. Built like a tank.

Once you have power steering and hydro lift you wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Congrats. :good2:

The power deck lift is also nice to have. Especially with a front snow plow. I think that you will be much happier with the 590 vs the 390. The seat and rear diff lock are also a vast improvement.

I do feel like I have really moved up in the world with this new X590. I have considerable back issues , in fact last year my wife had to do all the mowing, and we had it from around March until around November nonstop. So when I started thinking about a new mower, she was pretty much all for it. This new mower is a dream to drive, I will never go back to a mower without power steering , plus I am definitely sold on the new seat. I also looked at a X570, and while it was a great machine, I decided to go ahead and spend the extra and get what I thought I really wanted. I have already given it the once over, adjusted the deck height ( way off) , checked all the fluids ( right on) and tire pressures, etc.
I also drove a X734 ( lower end 7XX series, and a 1023, but they were just a whole lot more than I needed, plus considerably more money. Now I am just waiting for the grass to start growing. :good2:

Welcome and you won’t regret the 590 one bit! I have over 300 hours on mine, and haven’t had one single issue with it. I used it to maintain a 3/8th acre garden until a 1025R was added to help. But now that was traded off for a Z950R, so now the X590 will be saved for snow removal. When you get a chance, check out our YouTube, there are several videos of the 590 being put to work!

If you have a bad back you will really appreciate the bigger seat. Trust me I know from experience. lol
You can adjust the seat springs front or back to change the ride. At 280 lbs I thought I would definitely need to have them set all the way back. However I found the middle position made it ride way smoother and without bottoming out.

Mine has the optional arm rests. They help with getting on and off the most.

Yep sure did. We have 5 young children, and the garden was taking too much time away from spending time with them enjoying the pool and pond. We will get back into it after they are gone.
Only Have 3 the two Older were My weeding work force I took a Line from one of my great Uncles(who had 8 children) who wants Ice Cream But they had to weed the Garden to get It. Needless to say the Twins I think Hate Ice Cream to this day. I say it now when they come to visit and I swear there ready to run and hide:lolol: My Younger son Got smart he would either use the 140H3 to cultivate or Run a Mantis style cultivator:lolol::bigthumb:

Can't ever go back on either of those options. They're too nice.
