Ok, not really a mod, but a nice upgrade. I tested it out, works great! :D
I got the spinner the other day when I was at the dealer. Pretty cheap but effective.

Nice! Don't be upset when it's not in the same spot after you drive a little ;)

Yeah, the steering wheel doesn't come back to the same orientation. You can thank the hydraulic steering for that(no conventional gearbox with a steering shaft and hydraulic assist like a car).

I'm ok with that:good2:

I have been meaning to get one of those. Use to use them when running loaders on job sites, CATS even come standard with them in their machines that still have steering wheels.

A worthwhile addition, especially when you need to keep moving in tight quarters. :thumbup1gif:

You all are going to make me go out and buy one of these aren't you? I had one on our JD650 and true enough, would not have been without it. The 650 did not have power steering and the spinner sure made things easier. As the 2320 has power steering I am not convinced I need one.

Don't cave Gizmo, I have never had one, I'll stand by your side!:drinks: I just like the feel of sitting in the seat with 2 hands on the wheel, and I have made it this far with no troubles, so......:thumbup1gif:

Those were great prior to power steering when it would take many, many turns to steer from lock to lock, but with hydrostatic steering that is no longer the case. Also with hydrostatic steering the center will drift which means that the knob will always be in a different position going in a straight line. I will stick with palming the steering wheel.

I don't know how many times a darn near broke my fingers on the thing. It was still worth it but I don't miss it.

I wanted mine more for when I use 3pt implements more than the FEL work. My hands are messed up so no palming here. The spinner keeps me from rubbing a callus on the side of my hand. But the lesson here is if you have a spinner, hang on to it....

I have one on my 2520...and GT275. I too didnt think it would help. But my wife bought the one for the 2520 for my birthday...and I liked it so much, I bought one for th GT 275. I really like it for when backing up and I'm looking over my shoulder...it makes it easier to hook up implements, etc.

I have one on my 1026R and it makes steering really easy....BUT be careful when transporting with a full loader....it is much easier to upset if you are turning too quickly.

Very well said BEC!

I had spinners on my Wheel Horses, not powered, loved em. I put one on my 2520 and discovered the hard way it did not stay in the spot I wanted it to. I removed it and haven't looked back. Palming works just fine for me too. :good2:
