My new toy arrived yesterday with the H120 loader, mower deck and 48 inch tiller. New to tractors and have a question? What are the staple tools you all carry in your tool box? I know many are going to answer get a bigger box first but I'm talking basic hand tools for use in a pinch or those regularly needed?

Depends on how you are working your tractor. Hitch pins, channel locks, hammer, screw drivers, bunge straps, small first aid kit, needle nose pliers, whatever YOU think you might need. Good Luck and be safe :good2:

Adjustable wrench

And a ROPS rifle rack. Bullets are useless without a gun. lol

Unless you are very good at throwing them. lol
Adjustable wrenches are good to throw at groundhogs when you don't have the rifle. Much heavier than the bullets. You might use one of the tractor too, if you can find it after throwing it.

For groundhogs I'd get one of them Rodenator tools. It fills the hole with LPG & oxygen then ignites the mixture......PUH-POW!
Problem solved.
LOL
Plus you don't have to wait until you catch him outside of his hole.

I carry proof of insurance for when I'm operating on public roads. This is a requirement in my state.

And snacks. Don't forget snacks!

Here is what's in my toolbox;

Just couldn't stand those dangling plugs and caps, so I cut them off.

As you can see I have 2 tool boxes.

This is the one that came with the tractor. I also keep my gloves in it.

This is the top shelf in the other tool box.

This shows the bottom of that same tool box. No hammer but I do have a fence plyer that can be used for a hammer. It's made to work on barb wire fence.
