I stuck these up there to see what it’ll look like. I have many signs to hang in the shopping.

I applied the first coat of paint to the stairway this morning.

While it was drying, I ate lunch, then went to my friend's place to get some 2" pipe from storage. I was going to start fabricating the stairway handrails, but other things in life got in the way. I found a few things to do this afternoon.
I'll apply a second coat of paint on the stairway on Friday, then try to make a start on the handrails.

Keith, there are treads... Count them, there are 9 of them.

Oh!!! You must mean Non-Slip tape.

Yes, Keith. I bought non-slip tape to apply to the "already installed" treads.

X2 or does the paint have sand mixed in.
and are you going to add a Hand Rail.....
Gene. No sand in the paint. See reply to Mr. Giz above. :)

I spent most of the day running electrical conduit. My legs are sore from climbing up and down the ladder. Sometimes, it isn't fun getting old. :(

Pics later.

Sorry... Just now finding time to post pics.
I was in and out most of the day. The little time I was in the shop, I installed a combo light switch/double duplex for the mezzanine lighting. I connected an extension cord to the wiring to test it. All was good, so I installed the switch/duplex covers.

This is located as you enter the mezzanine from the stairway.
The light switch controls the two mezzanine LED lights. The duplex is for whatever may need power while up there.

The two LED lights are plugged into a double-duplex receptacle located at the ridge of the building.

While I was at it, I installed one of the exterior 20-amp GFCI receptacles (south side), prior to installing more wall TIN. I used a heat-gun to conform the PVC conduit, to run inside one of the ribs of the exterior metal panel, behind the horizontal framing.

More work tomorrow.

Enough decorations...pics of Bridge Crane Jib Crane?
Fixed it, Dan. (y)
I can't begin on the Jib Crane just yet. I have other priorities. I need to finish the electrical and large sliding (barn) doors.
I'm also on a "Fixed Income" ya know. The funds don't come every day. ;)
--------------

Last Monday, I installed the Joist in the hole-in-the-floor, where the "Now-Abandoned" retracting stairway was. I placed a couple temporary boards over the hole to prevent my stupid-self from falling in. I'll pick up a sheet of OSB to permanently cover the hole.

Yesterday, I ordered a 6-tier shelving unit from SAM"S to match the center one in the shop mezzanine. I'm scheduled to pick it up this morning.

I also need to pick up 2-Bucks of scaffolding at a friend's place, so I can reach the upper limits of the shop, to install the conduit and receptacles for the light fixtures.

It's slow, but coming along.
