Has anyone else been having problems accessing JD Parts Advisor? A couple days ago I started getting the message shown below when trying to login.

opensaml::FatalProfileException

The system encountered an error at Fri Mar 22 18:26:07 2019
To report this problem, please contact the site administrator at [email protected]
Please include the following message in any email:
opensaml::FatalProfileException at (https://partsadvisor.deere.com/Shibboleth.sso/SAML2/POST)

The URL I've been using for Parts Advisor is:

https://registration.deere.com/servlet/com.deere.u90950.registrationlogin.view.servlets.SignInServlet?EM_SelectCountry=US&EM_SelectLanguage=en

The web front end isn't talking to the authentication back end properly. Have you cleared your browser cookie for Parts Advisor?

That's the register a new account URL. Try this one: All Makes Parts | Parts & Service | John Deere US Then select "Buy Genuine Parts" on the lower left corner of the page.
I have a shortcut on my desktop and have been using that same URL for the past 6 months. I've always been able to login with my credentials. The link that you provided above appears to be the generic parts site, not Parts Advisor.

I don't know the difference between the two but when I followed your URL I got an authentication error as well, but a different one than what you got.
Code:
https://registration.deere.com/servlet/com.deere.u90950.registrationlogin.view.servlets.SignInServlet?EM_SelectCountry=US&EM_SelectLanguage=en
Reading the URL leads me to believe that it is to a "registration" workflow and not a standard user authentication workflow. Beyond that I have nothing to offer that would make sense or actually help you.

Like JG wrote above, that is the generic parts site, not the "Parts Adviser" site we've been using and is like the dealers use.

Can't we disuses here in this thread?

This is the URL I was using, but I can't get past this page now even after resetting my password (this is after the "flash" warnings):

jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.HomePageServlet_Alt

I'm wondering if they are limiting access now for the general public?

Also I've noticed in the address line when using this link "Snap-On" something or other flashes by...they must have a hand somewhere in the back end of the PA system.

I've been using this page for a long time;
JDParts: Homepage
Same here. That is the site we normally refer to as "JD Parts". When you login it allows you to see pricing and dealer stock status at your default dealer. It also many times gives detailed physical specifications of parts like dimensions, thread type, fitting style, etc. - something that isn't available on any of the other parts sites. It also allows you to place orders for parts and have them shipped or pick up at the dealer. The "John Deere Parts Catalog" button on the left used to take you to the legacy parts illustrations system but now it takes you to the same site as this URL.

As a follow-up... I did some checking and it appears that JD has made some changes and the site we knew as Parts Advisor is now only available to dealers.

However, you can still lookup and order parts from your local dealer using the existing JD Parts site. It’s NOT Parts Advisor but it does work. There is a link on the page to register for a sign-on if you don't already have one.

https://jdparts.deere.com

Also, there is a user Portal available at MyJohnDeere.com. MyJohnDeere is designed as a SSO portal that allows you to go to multiple places from a single sign on, including JD Parts applications and John Deere Financial.

There is a link on the page to register for a sign-on if you do not already have one.

So... good bye and thank you to Parts Advisor and HELLO MyJohnDeere.com. :)

I'm a computer dummy. I don't know how to post a link BUT I can post a photo. Will a photo suffice?. I didn't see the word advisor so JD may have changed the name.
Yeah... that's not Parts Advisor. That's the site that replaced the legacy parts catalog system. In fact, that interface is the only one that is still available to the public.

When I try to go to that link it gets re-written to this link:

I attempted to order some parts yesterday and it wouldn't let me register or check out as a guest. I went to town today and just ordered at the counter.

There probably was a problem with the site. I had to reset my password today!
