Built ballast box (24" x 24" x 19") with 2" angle iron, 3/16" plated bottom & OSB sides, filled with bricks and sand. Snowblower mod idea came from a picture posted on tractorforms. I moved the adjustable trailer jacks behind the tunnel and modified the base so it would slide easily on my scoria road. Now the front blade will not dig in and throw scoria rocks onto my lawn and I can do a quick height adjustment. Also built brackets and mounted work lights to ROPS. Still planning to modify my loader so I can switch between it and my snowblower without removing the PTO bracket an shaft.

new to adding a picture, hope it works

Great looking tractor dgf. The 2720 looks like it means business. The high mounted lights look like they would work really well for just about any scenario. Glad to have you here and looking forward to seeing future posts. :thumbup1gif:

Another big WELCOME!

Nice mods. :thumbup1gif: You have quite the rig for moving the snow, now you just need some. We hit a new record hi of 51 degrees here yesterday and more of the same through at least the next week. I don't think our frost is very deep and the lake finally froze over though I am not sure it will stay that way. OOoppps sorry, back to topic. I am curious to see what you have in mind for that loader mod. Don't keep us waiting too long now.

thanks

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. The high lights work really great, they cast out far enough to see my working area clearly, have plans to mount one to the rear too (another project day).

Randy, your right about the weather, we don't have any snow and the temp has been up in the 60's and that's not normal for North Dakota. This puts less wear and tear on my equipment, keeps it looking like new. If the weather doesn't change, I'm going to have to put the mower deck on, lol.

Tomorrow I might start on the loader project, I'll post some pictures when I do.

Nice tractor. Thanks for the pic and nice BB build.

Last year it seems I couldn't put the tractor away and this year I only packed snow twice.
