I dropped by my JD dealer today and picked up my new tooth bar. I've never used one before but have a lot of jobs planned for it come spring when the new house construction starts. Here are a few pics...

I don't use mine often; but I'm glad I have it when I have to do any digging. Good deal on getting one for yourself.

That's one rugged toothbar! Looks familiar too.

You won't be disappointed! On KenneyD's suggestion, I bought a Markham, (NLA). It's one of the best additions that I bought, . It was invaluable during my Barn project and will help in your house project......~Scotty

I agree with the above. I use mine all the time and it was the second best thing I've added to the tractor (the first was the quick hitch).

Looks great, you will find a ton of uses for it, even if it is just to extend the leading edge of the bucket a bit, which makes carrying things easier.:thumbup1gif:

I've been wondering, are these any good for "ripping" ice? Lot of graders use something similar to grove the dirt roads after a good nite of freezing rain.

I don't know if they're any good at ripping ice; but the general consensus is to remove them when doing snow removal work.

ElWood,
Is that a 61" bucket? I'm trying to decide if I should go with a 73" heavy duty on a 3720 or if the 61" HD is enough. Thanks for posting these pics.

John,

I have the 61" CX loader on my 3320. If you need some pics, let me know.

Elwood,
I’m think I’m going to pull the trigger on the 61” heavy duty bucket and toothbar like yours. Does the 61" bucket cover your tracks? It sure looks likeit in the photo. How wide is your tractor? Are your wheels set to the widestposition? I thought the 3x20's are 68" wide, but I just got back from thedealer that had a 61" bucket on a 3320 with R4 tires on it and it lookedlike it would cover the tracks no problem. Maybe it’s the way the 2 positionwheels are installed. I plan to get R1 tires on my 3720 which I think arenarrower tires any way. More pictures including the JD attachment would begreat. I’m assuming you have the JD attachment carrier on your 300CX loader.

John,

I took some measurements for you. I believe my tractor has the wheels set wide. Here they are:

-Back tire track is 56 inches wide.
-Front tire track is 54 inches wide.
-300cx HD quick attach loader bucket is 61 inches wide.

I'll also note that my box blade is 61 inches wide to cover my tracks.

Here are a couple pics. Let me know if you want any very specific pics and I'll send them.
