Hey guys I am new to the home owner scene and bought my first JD. Got a good deal on a D140 so i picked it up...I live in New England and just got dumped on 26inches of snow on Oct. 29th!!! I would like to run a snowblower on my tractor, I have a chance to pick up part # GX0422X serial # GX0422X005435...its a 42 inch blower that was running on an L130...my question is will this work on my tractor? and how do the snowblower attachements work for these?

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide! I am sure there are plenty of JD Gurus on here!

Get familair with visiting www.jdparts.com. Search for model D140, Sectional Index, Snowblower. Do the same for the L130. You will see numerous differences in the frame and pulley/drive systems so my guess is, not a match.
