Hi, sorry for my english, I'm from Québec and speak french. We have a 3720 that have no power as soon as the hydraulic get hot. They have change a sensor, the big hydraulic pomp, change and filter the oil 8 times but still have no power. It goes 2 kmh when climbing a little hill. The John Deere garage have been working on it since january 3 with no results and tell us they have recleaned the oil. Donc you have ans idea of what can cause this problem?

have they checked the pre pressure going to the hydro pump ( should be near 275 PSI). how about the output of the hydro pump. that should be near 6000 PSI

Perhaps the rims are spinning inside the tire?

just some ideas

if your fluid is getting to hot you have a restriction issue somewhere in system and that restriction could be causing all your issues

if your problem surfaced right after a complete hydraulic fluid and filter change you could have a filter issue

are you using the correct hydraulic fluid

as others have mentioned reading the fluid pressures at different points in system helps locate the problem

seems strange the "dealer" can not diagnose the problem

possibly a typo but changing the oil 8 times seems to indicate a lack of diagnostics

We too are starting to have a lot of doubts about the capabilities of our John Deere dealers. What they tell us is to regularly clean the strainer, a small filter, but even if we remove it to clean it, there is no debris. We are also leaning towards a restriction but they do not want to check on this side. If we go to another dealer they say the warranties will no longer be valid. After 5 times they tell us they have corrected everything and come back to the same point, we are starting to be really discouraged.

if the tractor is still in warranty i would read the paperwork closely

Mine did strange things until I changed the battery. It had more than enough power to start it, however once and a while the tractor didn't want to move until I bought a new battery. That's probably not your problem, but I always check the simple things first.

My husband changed it last autumn but I will ask him to verify if the battery is still good.

Have you or the dealer verified that the intake hose (item 21) for the hydraulic pumps is not collapsing and restricting fluid flow into the hydraulic pumps when the system heats up?

We probably need a more complete problem statement.

For example, you have three transmission ranges. A (low), B (mid), and C (high). Does the performance change when you climb this hill in another range?

How about engine RPM. When you turn off LoadMatch, set the engine RPM to 2500, then climb this same hill in both Range A and Range B with the pedal on the floor, does the engine RPM remain at 2500, or is it dropping?
