Hello everyone. New here. I was doing some maintence on my 2005 JD 2210. Also installing a heater too.

When changing the oil, I looked at the left front wheel from under the tractor and it was full of oil and dirt, very greasy behind

the rim. And on the front side, you can see oil seeping around the wheel bolts. I checked the gear oil in the front

axle and it was down, but still showed a little on the dip stick. I topped it off. Is there a seal on that wheel that is leaking?

What should I be looking for? I plan on taking it apart and checking it. Just curious as to what I should expect to find.

There is a seal, I am on limited access right now so I can't post anything from JDP.

Two quick suggestions:
1) Buy the workshop manual on CD, its about $70 and will be very helpful.
2) Register (for free) at www.jdparts.com and learn to use it, there is a link in my signature if you need help with it.

Workshop cd

I am interested in getting this Workshop Manual CD but I'm having trouble
locating it on the JD parts.com Does it only cover the JD 2210 for service
and maintenace? What is it exactly?

The technical manual is available on JD's main website. You can also get one through your dealer or an online vendor such as Green Farm Parts.

It will cover all maintenance and repair topics to include electrical schematics. I highly recommend getting one. :good2:
