Tractor made it to the Dealer yesterday.... BUT the 60D deck and Ballast Box are still 2 weeks out..

Question?? I am ordering a BXpanded Piranha Blade for the loader bucket.. What size do I need to get. (They are 5 weeks out)

Thanks

Do you know the size of your bucket? It's more common to get a 53" but some get 49"

And on the 120R, you can still get either size bucket, as is shown here. Deere has the buckets as either 1250mm or 1350mm, which works out to

49.25" for the 1250mm size

53.15" for the 1350 mm size

They don't list a bucket under the 120R for the MSL loader, only the NSL loader. That's curious.........

Called the dealer and he says 49.. So my next question would be. Does SIZE matter? Lol. But seriously for 3.8 acres Should I get the bigger bucket? Or would I be better off with the smaller one.?

Four inches difference? Too little difference to matter for your size place, both width and the minor difference in capacity. I have the 49" and Piranha tooth bar, but honestly I have found no use for the tooth bar at all. It has been sitting on a dolly in my barn, taking up space for 6 years.

BTW, get yourself a really good quality metal cutting bit set for installation, and a rattle can of JD green paint. You'll also be needing decent bits to install your KBOH bucket hooks later.

Clyde, thank you for the advice. I live in Louisiana and it's mostly clay so I was hoping the Piranha would help with that and maybe popping out a few small rotted stumps. Got the bucket hooks in my basket along with the 6 inch drop step.

Clyde would you entertain selling the Piranha Bar??
