Owner's Edition Cap

I took delivery of my 2011 2520 in May and still have not received my postcard from JD in the mail to submit for my Owner's Edition ball cap. Called the dealer last week and they told me to be patient and it would come. Any previous or new owners experience the same delay? I know its just a cap, but I paid good money for my machine and would like everything I can get (especially seeing that they dropped the stow and go off my 62D).

i never got one for my x320
Cap

I did receive card and ultimately the cap from JD for my new 2305. I cannot remember the time frame exactly; however, it did not take nearly as long as you're experiencing. Stay on your dealer! Purchased machine on 4/30/11.
I didn't know anything about a cap from John Deere. So anyone who bought a new tractor is supposed to receive a cap? I bought my 2520 in May and the dealer never said a word about it!

Was it advertised somewhere?
No cap with my 2305 purchase, maybe only a U.S. thing?
I got one with my 4520, but nothing witht he z920.
I got my 2520 and X530 back in april and sometime in june got a card from deere to fill out for the owners cap. I haven't received any yet. I did receive two camo buck knives that they were offering back then, of course I had to call customer service to get them.
I bought two machines, no hat. But, here is a link describing how to get one.

Hat Success

Called JD Customer service and I explained to the service representative that I had not received my GetMyHat mailer. The gentleman was able to look my information up and process my hat order within a minute of me calling. This was the best customer experience I've had so far with JD CS. Last time I called about the absence of the stow and go brackets on my 62D I got the runaround. I was so pleased with the guy that took my call that I brought it up again and he's going to investigate further to see if there's anything they can do.

I got a cap with my 2520 but not through the special offer. When I was concluding the deal with the salesman I said "I assume that the tractor comes with a cap". When the tractor arrived, so did the cap.:hi:

Ha! Great minds think alike...I did the same thing with my used 2520 I just picked up!
I was never given a free hat, and as a matter of fact when I wanted one I was made to pay for it....it was incredibally expensive; however, luckily enough, they included a free 2320 with it so it all panned out in the end :good2:
Best response so far!!! Free 2320. Love it.
It's not a U.S. thing I got the mailer for mine when I bought my X475 in 2004 but I do remember it taking quite a few months. Still waiting for the new one from the 2520.

As I previously posted, 2 machines no hat. But, I have a really good friend that came through for me.

Another hat success story..

After viewing this thread I too called JD Customer service (1-800-537-8233) and asked the service representative if he could check to see if my 2520 warranty had been registered by my dealer. He proceeded to check and came back with a "yes" it was, Then I said one more thing, I had not received my GetMyHat mailer. The gentleman said no problem we'll just skip the card and he processed my hat order within a minute and said 4 to 6 wks but he stated it won't take that long have a wonderful day...

So now I wait with anticipation... :thumbup1gif:

I just called Deere customer service to follow up on my hat and they had all the information but hadn't processed it yet, until this phone call. Hat is on the way. I should of known better not to follow up on it.
i got my 2320 back in may. i finally got the flyer in the mail for my hat yesterday.

now if only i could figure out a way to get the imatch quick hitch that everyone but me seems to have got thrown in with their deal...
Here is one for ya…I contacted Deere three weeks ago, via the Customer Contact Center on the website, explaining that after three months I still hadn’t received the post card about the hat. They responded that they would submit the order manually. On Monday, I received two hats in the mail! Then, the next day, I get the post card.
