okay green and red man, you are gonna have to explain to me how early case serial numbers work haha

I got told that 6 digit case serial numbers you have to take the 1st and 4th digit, minus 3 and then go to some table and see what that number equates too. not that isnt wierd enough, but then what do the remaining numbers mean? so my little case orchard tractor is now suppose to be a 1930 model, and since i dont know any case guys, you are now my go to guy, lucky you!!

There is an auction coming up that i am going to that may have another little c orchard tractor like mine, so i MAY try to drag it home as well.
i have searched around the net and have not come up with much so far....

I might have to retaliate and find a website for old deere dealerships lol

Oh man, I'd be lying if I said I knew about the old Case tractors. My knowledge is more on the IH stuff. I haven't gotten around to collecting Case tractors etc. Wish I could help you though. I haven't finished some other tractor projects and here I am trying to buy more green. Ha ha. You and I seem to have the same affliction. Lol

I'll try and see what I can find. If the nearest Deere dealers hadn't changed hands so many times, I probably could have gotten some pics of them from decades ago.

Notice how far back the corporate branding architecture came into being with the monolith as the prime feature.
Yip, I've heard various people say that IHC wanted its dealers to build new buildings outside of the towns with that design. They said that is what caused some to just close their doors.

Reminds me of when the company sued many of its dealers, because they sold more than just IH farm equipment. Some were combination hardware dealers or sold other things in order to survive. Forgot what the outcome of the lawsuit was.
