Maxey trailers are built in Texas and they'll give me a discount. The owner is great to deal with. I'm in talks with the company to build one that's wider than shown in the video. Plus the trailer must have a greater hauling capacity and be longer.

Of course, there are some tractors and planters that are too wide and heavy and will still have to be hauled with a semi on a lowboy or landoll type trailer.

The trailer may also be used for hauling hay at times. I'm going to have a HD electric winch installed on the front.
This one is going to get lots of use.

Neat idea. Are they able to do a deck over style or will it be a wider in between the wheels version?

I'd love to have a hydraulic Landoll style gooseneck trailer, but I could buy a used semi and lowboy cheaper. Keep us updated!

I'm waiting to find out what their engineering dept has to say on how wide they can go legally with the present design or if they can, what the price would be. With multiple widths and weights of tractors and other machines, the trailer will have to be able to haul machines much larger than what is shown in the video.

I'll still haul things like combines and 4x4 articulated tractors etc with a semi and trailers made for that kind of weight. I sure don't want a ticket from DOT for being overloaded.

Some of the tractors I've hauled in the past with a 1 ton dually and trailer weren't running. The tall height of the trailer added to the danger. A lower trailer like is shown would sure make things easier and safer when loading/unloading.

Looks nice. I did a quick search on my phone but I couldn't find any info on the axles on that trailer. How are they configured? It seems that the deck lowers below the hubs.

I'm curious to see what they can do. I believe the max width without oversize permits is 102", and when you figure the wheel/ tire/ bearing assemblies will take up at least 8-10" per side there's not a lot of deck width left for a lowboy style trailer.

I'm still trying to find out all the design specs. I know several guys, who belong to my hunting club, that purchased trailers from that company and are very satisfied. Will be making a trip to the factory to hopefully get all my questions answered.
They also offer the Drop N Load design for their car haulers.

They sometimes have contests where trailers are given away. The last giveaway was done via facebook and it was for a Drop N Load car hauler. I don't do facebook. :)

Maximum of 77" or 76" between the tires is not what I was hoping to hear. Been too busy to write down a design and measurements I had in mind. Will see if the engineering department or myself can come up with something different. I like the Drop N Load style very much, but my farm tractors are too wide to fit on their largest model.

May just have to settle for the design I had originally discussed with them. The GN trailer I usually haul things on has a higher deck. If I have a tractor and skid steer/track loader on the tail, it gets kind of worrysome. I've got to get a trailer with a lower deck. Will let ya know what I end up with. Also seeing if they can build me some better designed trailers for hauling cattle.

I'm not sure how wide you can go with that type of trailer. But, I would think it would be wider than 77" between the fenders.

I have a load trail 10K , 20' ,bumper pull, beaver tail. I have 82 3/4" between the fenders & 102" to the outside of the tires.
