I have a IR 3 inch abrasive cut-off grinder. Since day one the trigger lever was always an issue. It was made of stamp steel and very flexible. It never did activate the valve properly and thus never getting full power all the time. So it was time to fix this frustration. I machined up my own lever and gave it a little color. Now we're ready to race. Here is some proof.

Oh, and in the process I got rid of that pesky safety lever, on purpose.

That's a rhetorical question, yes? But, will answer anyway, you betcha. I am constantly keeping that machine busy. Once I get far enough along I will show ya my next greatest invention, a dump trailer up-grade.

The first thing I do with air tools, after checking for operation, is to remove those safety levers. They suck!

Your new handle looks awesome! Gotta love having a mill at your ready.
