Positive Customer Service Story

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I settled on this section. Apologies if I'm wrong. Anyways, I was all excited to finally get a set of mirrors for my 1025R. Some physical limitations have made it harder to turn my neck like I used to, especially all bundled up in the cold weather. When the family is all outside removing snow, there are a lot of moving parts and safety needs to be paramount, so I started looking for a good set of mirrors. The Mudd's Customs bolt-on ones always seem to be out-of-stock, so I started looking at other options. I found a set made by 5ElevenDesignz that use magnets to attach the mirror frames to the loader arms (or any other metal on the tractor). The shipment arrived in two days. We got nearly 10inches of snow a only a few days after I received the mirrors and got them attached and adjusted properly. While cleaning off the driveway, I brushed a mirror against a garbage can and it fell to my concrete driveway. I was heartbroken to see that it cracked in several places. Nearly zero degrees and concrete will do that to most things. On a whim I emailed the company and asked for a replacement, considering I just purchased the set. I was shocked when they emailed me back and indicated they would "absolutely" ship me a replacement immediately. I guess great customer service still exists in some places. I have no relationship with the company other than being a customer. With service like that, though, I will certainly be a repeat customer and I'm already looking at some of the other cool custom stuff they make for my tractor. :p

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered one.

Just to let you know our local farm store sells mirrors. Probably not nearly as nice as what you got but they can be bolted to the hole where the loader hooks up. This picture is with the loader removed so it’s pointing up in the air.

I bought a pair of magnetic mount mirrors off fleabay. So far so good but I feel they will be easily knocked off. Time will tell.

How adjustable are those? I don't see a ball/socket joint or something else for adjustability.

The ones from 5Eleven have a pair of fairly strong rare-earth magnets on each mirror. I'm wondering if it would have been better to use one larger/stronger magnet for each, but then maybe they wouldn't break off as designed?

FYI, replacement mirror arrived today as promised. Thanks for everyone's feedback. The learning curve is steep with this equipment when you didn't grow up around stuff like this.

They have a ball/socket setup on the back of the mirror. The one I have a picture of is advertised for these tractors but I noticed after the fact similar ones for sale at the farm store.
These are the mirrors I purchased.

What’s about those is the stick out farther. I have to lean a little to see behind me.

They're also much lower since they mount on the side of the loader uprights.

LOL, it was pretty steep for some of us when growing up as well. I know I must have driven my dad to exasperation more than once.

When my hydraulic system had a explosive issue before Christmas and I lost the tractor for 8 weeks I was mad at myself for not being able to diagnose the problem. It turned out that the hydraulic pump went bad. Watching a YouTube video showed me the replacement was easy-it's the diagnostic process that's steep to me. Hopefully a few hundred more hours of operation will give me some more experience to draw upon. I'm finding excuses to use the machine for anything I can find. Last fall I pushed it to the max getting a 900lb antique safe into the house through a patio slider. I barely cleared the step.
