I have been pricing out 1025R TLB's and I am trying to plan for future attachments. What type of mower lift is required for use with the power bagger system? Will the mechanical lift system work or do you need to go with one of the hydraulic options? How good is the power bagger? Thanks for your input.

Not sure what your asking but the mower decks are hydro lift and the bagging system are the power flow off the deck. There are some aftermarket systems that are different.

When using the mechanical mower lift (which really is hydraulic) you can't use the 3 point hitch and rear implements. Is the power bagger hooked up to the three point hitch or would it be in the way of the 3 point hitch? If so, I would need to upgrade the mower lift system to hydraulic lift or independent hydraulic lift. Correct?

Correct. The standard 3 bag John Deere bagger actually bolts to the hitch plate and uses the top link of the 3pt. Not sure if the lower arms would interfere with the bags or not. There are aftermarket options like the Jamison Bryce setup that mount the bagger on the John Deere imatch. Superior Tech also makes a bagger system that mounts on the Imatch.

Here's the Jamison Bryce web site.

He's also a GTT vendor supporter, just look under the vendor section of the main page.

Here's the link to the Superior Tech systems. The MCS 20 is quite tempting.

The Superior Tech model with actually mount on the Imatch or just the 3pt i believe. The videos I've seen only show it on an Imatch though.

If it mounts to Imatch it will mount 3pt.

You can use the JD powerflow and bagger with mechanical lift. That is how mine is setup. The bagger does move up and down with the deck but it does not affect operation of the bagger.

Can't you use the rate of drop control to lock the 3 point in place?
