Might double check that vs serial number data over on WFM.
They have several models listed with serial number breakdown. You dont need to be a member to view that information.

The 400 and 420 did not overlap.
The 318 was introduced in 1983, not 84. The 316 was introduced in 84. 330 Ran until the 332 was introduced in 1988 along with the 322.

But that chart is a great start!
Do you plan to add other models to it as well?

The 330 was only produced in 1986. I haven't seen any over 368,000.

Could be right. WFM certainly isnt foolproof. Their registry also only shows tractors from 86. Their documentation is where I got the year range on the 330.
Could be someone just got ahead of themselves with the data in the details written up on the 300 series model info.

The 332 replaced the 330 in the 87 lineup. The 330 was released in 86. It was a 1 year tractor.

That doesn’t mean some dealers didn’t have leftovers for sale along side 332’s.

As I mentioned on WFM, there are charts, model info, etc., on WFM that is accurate. Also, we have similar information here in our technical library section. Here are ALL the models, serial numbers, by year for all of Deere's lawn and garden tractors from 1963 to 2010. These charts came from Deere itself.

John Deere Lawn Garden Tractors by the model numbers/years/serial numbers
