I just bought a new 1026r and now need to sell my beloved 265. What price should I ask? It has under 400 hrs, powerflow, HST, JRco grass trailer plus a JD utility cart. It's a real work horse, just put a new battery, changed the tranny fluid.

Prices can fluctuate quite a bit on the lawn and garden stuff. It depends on a few factors, location, condition of the equipment, season, etc. You can go to Used Farm & Agricultural Equipment - John Deere MachineFinder and do a search for 265s and see what the prices are. You can get a gauge by comparing those prices.

Thanks T-mo, that helps a lot. Good resource. There's quite a range there from $750-$2500 and more than double the hours mine has.
