I just use compressed air to blow mine out every once in a while, maybe I am just cheap?
Primary air filter cleaning - 3520
I would not try this for the secondary filter, but what measures have you use to clean you primary air filter. The owners manual for the 3520 recommends not servicing the air filtes ((until)) the air restrictor indicator comes on, It even discourages the removing of the secondary filter

My standard for most air filters is a little shot of compressed air across the filter, not at it, or through it, usually does the trick. If it doesn't come clean, I replace it.:hi:
