I've seen the online manuals that JD has on their site (as referenced in DTs technical section).

Aside from paying the $30 JD wants for a printed copy via JD Parts, is there any other place (hint- cheaper) to get them?
I noted a few on ebay for the 2520, but I haven't found one for the serial number range I need.

I don't know where else you would get it...

But I would get the Technical Manual on CD, they are about $70 but they are Cheap at twice the price IMO.
Thanks. I actually went ahead and printed off the manuals (tractor, deck, fel)......from Deeres site.

I was thinking of getting the tech manual, but the printed version. But getting the CD would give me a reason to break out the old laptop and turn it into a garage computer!

The CD is fantastic. I always just print the pages I need odor whatever I am working on at the time. I would also demand a owners manual from your dealer.
Yeah, I probably should. I was doing a pretty good job of jerking their collective chains today when I found out I couldn't take the tractor home with me (freaking diesel is expensive....and I'm over an hour from the dealership). I should have added a manual to my 'demands'

I'll bring it up with the salesguy when he calls on Monday to advise if/when the seal arrives.
