I just purchased a td1987cd service manual for a john deere 110tlb and was under the impression that I could take it to an office depot and have them make me a bound hard copy.

apparently not, They won't do it because of the copyright.

I printed mine at work, I know that's not an option everyone but that's how I did mine.

I had one printed a couple years ago. I stated it was for my own use and not resale.

I Have two JD discs. Two places wouldn’t print unless I had a letter from JD. I took a black magic marker, and covered what was on the discs re: copy rights and went to a third place. They immediatly printed and bound both manuals.

The disc just contains a single PDF file which you can use anywhere. You could simply copy the PDF to your own blank CD-ROM or USB stick and use that.
