I replaced all three delivery valve holders O-rings today due to a leak(s). Once everything was put back together I allowed the fuel pump to pressurize and then I released the air by loosing up the hex (phillips head) screw on the banjo fitting. After doing this I turned it over and it started but it ran rough. After running for 30 seconds it smoothed out but the engine doesn't sound or perform like it did prior to replacing the O-Rings. Prior to replacing the O-rings the engine ran strong but now it seems sluggish. What could be causing this sluggish condition?

Thank you in advance.

Any contamination in the lines can block an injector. They like to shed black paint also which always worries me.
