With the lack of snow so far this year I've had half a dozen times where I wanted to take the snowblower off and use the tractor for other things, but didn't to fight the 3-pt to get it off/on. So off to Theisens I went and came back with a SpeeCo Quick hitch and a PTO extension to make up for the offset of the quick hitch. All seems to be good except I now part of the drive shaft is exposed. Is there some sort of extension shield I can get to bridge this gap? Either on the shaft itself or attached to the tractor/snow blower?

The shield on the snow blower is removable unlike the one on the tractor so I'm considering putting the extension on that end and rigging up an extended shield on that end, but was curious if a ready made solution already existed.

Well, ended up bending up my own extended shield. The stock I found at the local place is a bit thinner than the original, but I think it should be serviceable.
