Used these kind of fittings for many years, but this year-old fitting just failed — looks like internal o-ring popped out and is cut through. Kenny is temporarily out of stock (1/4 inch Ag ISO 5675 1/4 inch NPT) so I ordered 2 sets of male and female fittings (the only option) from the Big A. Coming later today. Will assembly using Kenny’s great thread sealer.

This is for my 3rd function, used to control my grapple and front hydraulic blade. This is the male fitting on the grapple hose.

I have a friend that's blown a few like that, I think it's from over pressurizing when he's using his rear blade, meaning that the blade catches something and the pressure in the lines spikes super-high.

Would your crossover relief valve eliminate this issue?

Yes, absolutely. I told my friend that he needs one, but so far he hasn't decided to outlay the cash, it would involve making new hoses too.

I may have overworked my grapple the last few months moving big logs and rounds!
